ALOE VERA AND BEAUTY
Aloe is an important ingredient in many beauty products. It penetrates into the three skin layers (epidermis, dermis and hipodermis), eliminating bacterias and reducing the deposits of fat which block pores. At the same time the action of its natural nutrients, minerals, vitamins, aminoacids and enzymes, stimulates the regeration of new cells. It is an important cell regenerator, cicatrizante ("cell healer"), tonic, which penetrates deeply below the skin. Used regularly, our Aloe Vera Gel 100% avoids premature wrinkling and ageing. It reduces the size of open pores and can be used beneath makeup.

As aloe is an effective astringent, our Aloe Vera Gel 100% should be used with a moisturizer. It is an excellent sun shield, filtering ultraviolet rays and eliminating marks caused by the sun (in the latter case requiring prolonged and insistent use). Aloe used after shaving gives good results as in a moment it regenerates many of the cells damaged by the razor. Using our Aloe Vera Gel 95% gives an instant sensation of relief. This also applies to depilation – our Aloe Vera Gel 95% avoids irritation or sore spots, quickly closing dilated pores. Our Aloe Vera Gel 95% is also very effective in the prevention or elimination of stretch marks being important to moisturize the skin with oil or cream after the aloe has been allowed to penetrate. ALOPETIA. Used regularly after washing your hair, idealy with our Shampoo, our Nourishing Hair Mask proves an exceptional product to avoid hair loss. Due to its high nutritive value it is possible to regenerate part of the lost hair, if the root has not been destroyed. Ideal for re-activating hair growth after treatment with Chemotherapy. It is also recomandable to use Aloe Vera Gel 95% as intensive daily treatment, massaging it directly into the scalp, without rinsing.

DANDRUFF. It is possible, after the first application of our Shampoo, to observe an increased amount of loose dandruff, due to the effect of aloe vera. The loose dandruff is easily eliminated by brushing and with the following applications, dandruff disappears completely. The effect of aloe vera on dandruff is fundamentally due to its already proved potential for regenerating new cells. It thus creates in a short time new and healthier epidermal tissues. At the same time it nourishes with its high contents in vitamins, minerals, sugars and aminoacids (being the only natural product containing the nineteen aminoacids essentials for the human body). ACNE. Acne is caused by a deep infection in pores obstructed by excesive grease. It normally appears during adolescence due to a process of change in the skin. Our Aloe Vera Gel 100% is very efficient in the treatment of acne of all types. Apply daily as night treatment. Also see about oily skin.

OILY SKIN. For oily skins or those with acne, we recommend blending 15-20 drops of our Muskat Rose Oil and Aloe Vera Oil with 200 or 300 ml of our Aloe Vera Gel 95%, or in accordance with professional recommendations, and shaking well. For daily application. The results will amaze you!

WRINKLES. Due to its high nutritional content and, above all, regenerative power in all body cells, aloe vera is the treatment to elect to combat the effects of ageing of the skin; providing smoothness, elasticity and freshness. We have combined the regenerative and cell healing powers of Aloe Vera with the powerful healing, nourishing and moisturising properties of Muskat Rose Oil and added co-enzyme Q10, a powerful anti-ageing enzyme to create our Moisturising Q10 Cream for normal skin and our Nourishing Q10 Cream specially for dry skin. In addition we recommend the use of our Aloe Vera Gel 100%, which is enriched with Vit A and E to prevent premature aging and wrinkles, keeping you looking young. ECZEMAS. Use our Aloe Vera Gel 95% several times a day allowing it to dry and penetrate deeply. It is recomendable to combine the gel with our Aloe Vera Oil with Rosemary and/or our pure Aloe Vera Cream Forever to delay its astringent effect.

BLACKHEADS AND SPOTS. Use our Aloe Vera Juice, spreading it over the affected zone, if the infection is of a general character and our Aloe Vera Gel 95%, if it is localized (the gel has a smoother texture and is comfortable to use in especific areas of the body).

BROWN MARKS. They are produced by the suns action on the skin. In reality they are abnormal concentrations of melanina. Our Aloe Vera Gel 95% re-establishes the skins balance, making brown marks disappear efficiently. It is not a quick process, however, being necessary various daily applications during a complete month until results may become apparent.

PREPARATION FOR OTHER TREATMENTS. Due to its high nutritional content and its toning up powers our Aloe Vera Gel 95% is excellent for preparing the skin to receive treatment with other products, without interfering with their effectiveness. At the same time it normalizes, invigorates and freshens the skin when used after an aggresive treatment such as depilation.

APPLICATIONS FOR EXPECTANT MOTHERS. The application of our Aloe Vera Gel 95% during pregnancy and after giving birth reduces and avoids after birth wrinkles, giving the skin greater elasticity. See also about stretchmarks.

STRETCHMARKS. Our Rosa Mosqueta Oil is an increadibly effective treatment to combat and reduce stretchmarks.

CELULITIS. Our Reducing Gel reduces celulite and "orange peel skin", leaving the skin firm and soft. Its vegetable extracts, such as ivy, butcher’s broom, bladder wrack, caffeine and Aloe Vera, act synergically on the cellulite speeding up its break-up and elimination.

USE: Can be applied 2 or 3 times a day, massaging in to the skin until completely absorbed.

To give more elasticity to the skin, it is recomendable to apply our Aloe Vera Gel 95% regularly, together with our Aloe Vera Oil with Rosemary to avoid drying. It should be applied by means of massage.

SCARS. To reduce and possibly eliminate ugly scars, our Aloe Vera Gel 95% and also our Rosa Mosqueta Oil must be applied morning and night. This treatment must be maintained for several months and requires patience.

DEODORANT. One of the many properties of aloe vera is absorption and reduction of body odour. Our Deodorant Roll-on is ideal for people with allergies, sensitive skin or those who look for a natural alternative. It is long lasting, does not contain aluminium and does not irritate the skin.

CHILDHOOD ILLNESSES. Our Aloe Vera Gel 95% reduces inflamation and itchiness and is very useful in the treatment of sintomatic childhood illnesses such as measles, chickenpox and nappy rash.

ALERGIC ERUPTIONS. Results are very rapid in the treatment of allergies when our Aloe Vera Gel 95% is used, but when the effect of aloe has passed, the reaction will return if the conditions causing the outbreak continue.

HAEMORROIDES. Aloe reduces the sintomes – inflamation, pain, soreness and itchiness. Apply our Aloe Vera Gel 95% directly several times a day.

And for even more pain relief try this: Freeze some Aloe Vera Gel 95% between two sheets of kitchen foil and then cut it in suitable pieces for internal application. This helps to heal your inside even quicker.

CUTS AND WOUNDS. Due to aloes regenerating and disinfectant effects our Aloe Vera Gel 95% eliminates infection from wounds and helps them cure rapidly without scars. Cleanse the wound before applying gel.

INFECTIONS CAUSED BY FUNGI. Aloe vera has been proved very efficient in the treatment of infections caused by fungi, especially:

Jockeys itch: It appears on the inside of the upper thigh, producing a very pronounced itching. The dampness, heat and friction favour the growth of this fungus. our Aloe Vera Gel 95% should be applied morning and night, producing inmediate relief and elimination of this fungus in a few days.

Athletes foot: This infection by fungi frequently appears in summer and is usually picked up in swimming pools, saunas and gymnasiums. It causes cracking of the skin on the soles and between the toes with itching, pain and softening of the skin on the soles of the feet. In its acute form it may produce swellings. Use our Aloe Vera Gel 95% applying it at night, ideally wrapping feet with a bandage soaked in aloe gel.

Infection by fungi in the scalp: The treatment is the same as that described for greasy hair.

Fungi underneath fingernails: This problem face many manicurers. Dissolve two or three spoonfulls of our Aloe Vera Juice in water. Soak fingernails during fifteen minutes, then procede with normal manicure. Results are excellent.

INFLAMATIONS. Treatment with aloe vera is recommended in all types of inflamation, such as that resulting from falls, bumps, sprains and related to internal disorders(liquid retention;gout;varicose veins). The pain and inflamation disappear rapidly but it is essential to visit a doctor and receive treatment for whatever the cause of the inflamation. Use our Aloe Vera Gel 95% to heal the skin surface (scratches, abrasions etc.), use our Gel Relax pain gel to relieve muscel or inner tissue related inflamations and pains (pulled muscels, muscel ache, liquid retention, gout, varicose veins, etc.)

INSECT BITES, NETTLES AND JELLYFISH BITES. Extend an abundant coat of our Aloe Vera Gel 95% in the affected zone. The pain and inflamation disappear instantly.

TIRED FEET AND LEGS. It is surprising what relief can be felt by massaging with our Gel Relax pain gel. It soothes and freshens and it is vaso dilator (dilates the arteries and veins helping the blood flow more quickly and so eliminating retained liquids.)

PSORIASIS. Incredible results can be obtained in the treatment of psoriasis with our product our Pure Aloe Vera Cream Forever and our Aloe Vera Gel 95%. The results can be seen after two or three weeks from the beginning of the treatment. It is recommendable to combine this treatment with our Aloe Vera Juice, as those who suffer from this complaint usually have an important deficiency in vitamins A, C and E.

BURNS. Our Sun Lotion SPF 10 gives excellent protection from sunburn allowing at the same time a perfect tanning effect. It acts simultaneously as protector and activator of tanning, blocking more than 90% of the UV rays and allowing 70% of UVA type to pass. In the case of excessively delicate skins, use our Sun Lotion SPF 20. If burns have already been produced by excessive exposition to the sun without due protection, apply our Aloe Vera Gel 95%, or our After Sun in lighter cases, as quickly as possible. The application of our frequently and abundantly during the hours following the burns is necessary. The pain and inflamation disappear in minutes and the skin recovers its normal state in twenty four hours without swelling, peeling etc. The use of our Aloe Vera Gel 95% as first aid also applies to all types of burns – sunburn, UVA rays (solariums), scalding and even acids. In the last case it is very important to wash previously with cold water the affected zone and follow this with the application of our Aloe Vera Gel 95% or in very severe cases our Aloe Vera Juice. If the burn is very deep, soak a surgical gauze or cotton wool with juice and leave it to act over the burnt area. Our Aloe Vera Gel 95% is exceptional in the treatment of burns as it disinfects, moisturizes avoids the loss of liquids (exudation) and regenerates the lost tissue more rapidly than any other product. For this reason there is less risk of ugly scars or marks. The use of aloe with existing scars helps to reduce them or eliminate them if they are not too deep.(see also about scars)

VARICOSE VEINS. For its high-power anti-inflamatory, analgesic and cell regenerating effects, our Gel Relax pain gel with arnika, camphora, devils claw etc. is a good treatment for varicose veins, reducing inflamation and pain and regulating the circulation. Apply our Gel Relax pain gel by means of massage from the bottom towards the top of the leg allowing it to act during thirty minutes with legs up. The relief will be inmediate.

STOMACH ACIDITY. Aloe normalizes ph balance, reduces acidity and favours the balancing of gastrointestinal bacterias. STIFFNESS AND CRAMPS. Aloe vera contributes to the prevention and relief of these uncomfortable pains. We recommend 1-3 tablespoons of Aloe Vera Juice, mixed with water or any fruit juice of your taste, every morning before you begin your day. This way you give yourself a healthy start in the day and assure vital vitamins and minerals for a healthy, equalized and long life. A duration of min. 3 month of treatment is recommended. ARTHRITIS AND RHEUMATISM. Arthritis is the inflamation of the joints, causing stiffness and intense pain. On occasions there is an increase of the sinovial fluid, which lubricates the articulations, causing swelling and impeding free movement. Rheumatism is an inflamatory illness, which affects the soft tissues, ligaments, tendons and muscles, which surround the articulations. The enzyme capacity of our Aloe Vera Juice favours the complete digestion of nutrients, avoiding the accumulation of undigested substances which are responsible for the antigenic/antibody reactions, very common in the majority of arthritic and rheumatic processes. Also the acetilsalicilico acid found in this plant contributes to a great extent in the reduction of pain and inflamation provoked by arthritus and rheumatism. MOUTH ULCERS AND SORES. Aloe Vera Juice is used in the treatment of gingivitus, mouth ulcers, boils and herpes simple. The phosphate of manosa, one of the components of aloe juice, acts as a growth agent in body tissues and its healing of ulcers has been proved, especially mouth ulcers.
